Event Overview
Challenge Israman is one of triathlon's true bucket-list races with over 25 years of history — voted a top-10 destination race by the world's pro triathletes. The swim is in the crystal-clear 22°C Red Sea at Eilat's Royal Beach. The legendary bike climbs from sea level up Route 12 into the desert highlands (3,766m elevation) with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Eilat and the Arava Valley. T2 is on the mountain; a spectacular 10km downhill run leads back to sea level, then 11.1km along the gulf promenades to a stadium-like finish.
