Challenge Vieux Boucau

Event Overview

Challenge Vieux Boucau is set on France's wild Atlantic southwest coast in the Landes region, where surf culture meets triathlon. The swim takes place in a unique marine lake — no waves, no current — for an unusually clean and fast swim. The rolling 91km bike alternates between Atlantic coastline, sand dune valleys, pine forest tracks and flat sections (290m elevation). The nearly flat 21.1km run threads through extensive pine forest tracks (5m elevation). A beautifully diverse natural course in one of France's most unspoiled coastal landscapes.
