Challenge Wānaka is universally regarded as one of the most beautiful races on earth, set in New Zealand's adventure capital in the Southern Alps of Otago. Athletes swim in the glacial blue waters of Lake Wānaka, backed by the snow-capped Mount Aspiring National Park peaks. The hilly bike climbs through the stunning Crown Range and Cardrona Valley with jaw-dropping alpine views. The run takes athletes through Wānaka town along the lake edge. Simply one of the most spectacular race settings in world triathlon.
