IRONMAN 70.3 Michigan is held in Traverse City on the shores of Lake Michigan, the cherry capital of the world. The swim is in the clear freshwater of East Grand Traverse Bay. The rolling bike rides through Northern Michigan's scenic cherry orchards, wine vineyards, and pristine forest. The run takes athletes through Traverse City's charming downtown and along the bay. A beautiful Great Lakes summer race with a laid-back Midwestern atmosphere.
